What is industrial renovation?
Production of external wall panels in the factory, including already finished exterior, insulation, windows and ventilation system.
Prefab façade elements are more and more used in the reconstruction of apartment buildings in order to achieve energy efficiency and a better indoor climate. This allows to renovate external façade within just weeks while the residents can live in their apartments.
Main advantages of prefab renovation are speed and low disturbance level

- Works on site are less disturbing as scaffoldings are not used and the whole renovation process is much faster

How does it actually work?
Traditional renovation means all works are done on site while industrial renovation prepares most of the works in the factory and this leaves only fast installation of ready-made products on site. Elements are prefabricated with complete insulation, windows and ventilation system installed inside the elements, and external façade finished.
Installation is carried out with a crane and boom/scissor lifts (up to 5 floors) or mast climbing work platform (from 6 floors and up).
When the element installation is complete and all joints between elements and existing concrete structures sealed, old windows will be removed and interior decoration in window openings updated. After ventilation ducts have been balanced by technician, work with external walls is complete.
Residents will remain in their homes with minimum disturbance to their everyday lives, they don’t need to live behind scaffoldings for months. Our experience shows the whole renovation process is approx half the time of traditional renovation (5-story apartment building 4-5 months instead of 8-10 months), plus the quality of external walls is higher.
How do we do it?
In order to fit the building with correctly sized wall elements, 3D scanning is done. As a result we get point cloud which is the basis for element designing.
Creation of wall element drawings includes static calculations, development of project-specific fastening solution, integration of ventilation and sun protection into elements.
If needed, we can provide assembly by our own assembly crew or offer assembly manager service.
